The Tata Research Development and Design Centre (TRDDC) has opportunities for exceptional and highly motivated individuals with MS/MTech/PhD in computer science, process engineering or material science who can build upon and extend the existing research in TRDDC. What we are looking for Our current areas of work include most areas of advanced software engineering and selected areas in materials science and process engineering. We are looking for candidates with research aptitude who can not only strengthen these areas, but also grow new areas. Applications from scientists of international repute in any area of computer science, process engineering and material science are especially welcome. We provide a friendly and informal research environment and actively participate in the activities of the research community worldwide. Our research scientists have the unique opportunity to see their research used in products and services in the industry. Who should apply Candidates should have a consistently excellent academic record and research orientation with a minimum of 2-3 years of R&D experience in leading academic or industrial centres. Selected candidates will be expected to take leadership in developing novel technologies and take these through the stage of prototyping into demonstration in an industry environment.
